CANYON//SRAM Racing is a professional women’s cycling team competing in the UCI Women’s WorldTour, based in Germany. Founded in 2016, the team has established itself as one of the most innovative and ambitious forces in women’s cycling, with the goal of providing athletes a platform to reach their highest potential.

 

With a roster of 18 riders from 11 countries, including prominent names such as Katarzyna Niewiadoma, Zoe Bäckstedt, Chiara Consonni, Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig, and Chloé Dygert, the team is known for its competitiveness in stage races, Monument Classics, and one-day events. In 2024, it claimed victory at the Tour de France Femmes with Niewiadoma.

 

CANYON//SRAM Racing is also a pioneer in promoting diversity and inclusion through its CANYON//SRAM Generation project—a development team that offers opportunities o young athletes from underrepresented backgrounds. This two-tier structure provides a formal pathway to the WorldTour, contributing to the global growth of women’s cycling.

 

Led by general manager Ronny Lauke, the team is committed to creating a professional and inspiring environment where each athlete can thrive, supported by a passionate and experienced staff. The team’s core values include ambition, progress, and female leadership, with the mission to redefine the role of women in sport and inspire future generations.
