Sustainability

Our commitment

Cycling goes beyond the finish line: it is experience, growth, discovery. Pedal after pedal, we learn to care for the world we ride through. At Elite we respect those who live it and the planet that hosts it.

Commitments, objectives and actions

Our commitment is daily: we improve processes and products with respect for peopleproduct and planetRecycled materials, a responsible supply chainquality that lasts: this is how passion becomes real progress.

PLANET

From the circular economy to solar energy, we work continuously to reduce the environmental footprint of our products. We favour recycled and renewable materials, value our local territory, and promote more sustainable mobility.

A circular economy

Commitment to the environment starts with a circular economy. From design we develop strategiesprocesses and products made to last: repairableupgradeablerecyclable. We increasingly choose regenerated and renewable materials to reduce the use of virgin or polluting resources. We adopt eco-design and conduct life cycle analyses on products and processes to reduce our footprint from the outset.

Use of clean energy

To reduce the impact of energy consumption, we use solar energy in our offices and warehouses. Photovoltaic panels currently cover 28% of our needs. The goal is 50% by 2026 by doubling the PV system.

Environmental redevelopment of the Fornaci

The Fornaci Serciari in Fontaniva, overlooking the Brenta, are the heart of our story. A late-nineteenth-century site brought back to life by a ten-year restoration that returned value to the area and its roots of industry and passion. Here we created our first bottle cages, dedicated to the community of Fontaniva.

We continue with a new logistics headquarters: we are redeveloping a disused warehouse into a green space integrated with the landscape. The Cyclist’s Oasis is also taking shape: service pillars for washing and maintenance, benches, and a dedicated cycle path for continuous, safe mobility.

PRODUCTS

Durable products, built with ecodesignbio-based and recycled materials, replaceable components and modularity to extend lifespan. Plus reduced packagingwater-based inkssimplified maintenanceQuality is a responsible choice.

Eco-innovative solutions

We reduce dependence on fossil-based plastics. The Jet Sugar Cane sports bottle uses bio-based plastic from sugarcane. The Cannibal XC bottle cage uses 43% castor-oil-based polymers; Prism “Recycled” uses 67% pre-consumer regenerated plastic. The JustoJusto 2Avanti and Rivo home trainers contain 22% to 50% pre-consumer recycled material across total plastics used.

We work on weightmaterials and design for more sustainable solutions, inspiring our community to prefer bio-based or recycled materials.

Repairability and recyclability of products

We design products that are easy to repair and disassemble, for correct end-of-life material handling. We promote responsible use and good practices to prolong lifespan with manualshow-to videos and an updated knowledge base.

We also develop tools for daily care such as Neto, the plastic water-bottle sterilizerhumid microwave steam reduces almost all mould and bacteria on every component. More hygiene, less wastegreater durability, especially for sports bottles.

Eco printing with water-based inks

Our sustainability commitment also includes printing: for packaging we switched from solvent- or chemical-based inks to water-based inks, reducing the environmental impact of printing.

We have also drastically reduced paper for catalogues and informational materials, favouring digital channels: less paper and resource consumption, fewer shipments and CO₂, faster access to information.

Reduction of packaging volumes

We are reducing packaging volumes and adopting solutions more compatible with the environment.

We have reduced and eliminated polystyrene in the packaging of new products, favouring recycled and recyclable materials such as expanded polyethylene to obtain lighter and therefore more sustainable packs.

PEOPLE

People and community first: inclusive, safe workplaces, constant transparencylocal partners. We track progress with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 (qualityenvironmental managementsafety). Goal: social wellbeing and sustainable practices across the chain.

Quality, environment, safety: ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001

For us, sustainability is a concrete path: we reduce the environmental impact of our processes and involve the entire supply chain to generate real change. Alongside ISO 9001, in 2025 we also obtained ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. A measurable commitment to sustainable development.

Social factor and governance

We put people at the centre with company practices that influence communityemployees and other stakeholders: an equitable and inclusive workplace, diversity and equal opportunity policies, professional growthbenefits and real safety.

Our governance is based on our Code of Ethics, with responsibilityrisk management and transparent processes. The ongoing goal: preserve natural resourcesimprove social wellbeing, and make sustainable practices the norm across the entire supply chain.

Partners who share our values

We prioritise local suppliers to reduce CO₂ emissions from transport and work with partners who integrate environmental, social and governance factors into their business models. This choice reduces our impact and supports a sustainable future for the community: it creates local jobs, strengthens local relationships and consolidates a responsible way of operating across the supply chain.
